As a link between Europe and Africa as well as between the Atlantic ocean and the Mediterranean sea, Andalucia has been influenced over the centuries by many cultures since history is history.
The diversity of landscapes provide a range of forms, ranging from the warm Guadalquivir valley, to green low mountain areas, through landscapes as the Tabernas Desert or Doñana National Park as well as by the white peaks of Sierra Nevada .
In just 30 kilometers one can go from a subtropical alpine landscape to the shores of the Mediterranean and the famous Costa del Sol. All this diversity offers numerous options ranging from the monumentality of the historic cities to typical white, small villages -pueblos blancos- which continue to be a source of inspiration for all kinds of artists.
Here we present a pre-selection of ecohotels and eco-resorts, which fit well in this description of rural Andalusia and, of course, respect the principles of Responsible Tourism
